American Public Transportation's (APTA) 2008 Annual Meeting was the year’s must-attend event in the public transportation industry. This premier gathers annually to bring together more than 2,000 transit industry professionals from across North America.

APTA brought an array of technical, operations, and management education sessions to the EXPO 2008 floor. To complement the full slate of presentations and forums planned for the 2008 Annual Meeting, attendees enjoyed the unique opportunity to hear firsthand from EXPO exhibitors how the latest in technology innovations can provide solutions to address the needs of the public transportation industry. A range of topics were addressed, including solar power applications, bus stop management, reducing bus noise, resource allocation, and emerging technologies.
