An airplane, with explosives allegedly on board, is hi-jacked and diverted to Peterson Air Force Base. It is met on the tarmac by Air Force Base Security Vehicles.
Mobile Detect equipment is installed in one Security Vehicle which covertly surveils airplane during escort after landing. Results are monitored in real-time remotely at mobile command. Radiation is detected, but is indicative of a radio-therapy patient rather than an illicit radiological source. Site Commander is informed that no Radiological Dispersal Device (RDD) is present.
Bomb Squad robot performs reconnaissance, and establishes communication between hijackers and Site Commander. Plane is boarded by SWAT, and hijackers are apprehended. |
