Scenario:
Watch Commander monitoring Colorado Springs’ Radiation Surveillance Network receives notification of telephone allegation of a Radiological Exposure Device (RED) deployment in downtown Colorado Springs and on I-25 at a rest stop. He reviews city’s traffic-based Radiological Sensor Network (real-time, live data) and police mobile sensor data for the day, initiates a search for the device, and locates the device in downtown Colorado Springs. The alleged I-25 rest stop bomb is not confirmed.
