The conference was dedicated to public safety and security, and was organized and managed by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), in collaboration with UKTI and US Commercial Services.

Mobile Detect and partners Cubic Security Systems Inc. and Raptor Detection Technologies demonstrated their Radiological/Explosives Agent Public Transit Security prototype, for their upcoming CRTI 07-0217TA pilot deployment. This exhibit “stole the show” according to Dr. Andrew Vallerand, Director of Defence R&D Canada, Centre for Security Science (CSS).
